The FDA provides guidance to food manufacturers on how to accurately round the values for the various nutrients listed on the label. In this blog post, we will explore how to round out data on the nutrition facts panel. We will also provide a few tips on how to ensure that your food product labels are compliant with FDA regulations.

It is important to round out data on the Nutrition Facts Panel because it provides a more consistent representation of the food’s nutrient content.

When it comes to rounding out data on the Nutrition Facts Panel, there are a few guidelines that should be followed. First and foremost, all data should be rounded according to the table provided by the FDA. Additionally, any decimal points should be dropped when rounding up or down except for iron. For example, if a food has 2.5 grams of fat, this should be rounded down to 2 grams on the Nutrition Facts Panel.
When it comes to specific nutrients, there are different guidelines that should be followed.
